Get to know the admirable Landscape of the Culture of the Vineyard, classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. We continue to St. Mateus and visit the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus Milagroso in the church of St. Mateus which is one of the oldest on the island. We visited a craft house, went to Lajes do Pico which was the first place on the island to be populated and where we will visit the whaling museum (closed on Mondays). We continue to S. Roque and stop at Lagoa do Capit\u00e3o, one of the best known and the largest lagoon of Pico. Here we have views over the village of S. Roque, the Mountain of Pico and island of S. Jorge. We go down to the village of S. Roque, continue to the parish of Bandeiras and go to Arcos do Cachorro where we can observe magnificent sea caves. Return to Vila da Madalena.<\/p>\n
