Marvel at the most beautiful landscapes of Faial Island.<\/p>\n
We will visit the main sights of the island, the Miradouro da N\u00aa SRA. Concei\u00e7\u00e3o where we can contemplate the view over Almoxarife Beach, city of Horta, Marina, Monte Queimado and Monte da Guia. In the center of the island we have the Caldeira, one of the ex – libr\u00eds of the island. It has a diameter of about 2 km, a depth of about 400m and is covered with Laurissilva vegetation. It has been classified as a nature reserve since 1972. We continue to Praia do Norte and make a stop at Miradouro da Ribeira das Cabras where we can see Faj\u00e3 da Praia do Norte and part of the volcanic alignment of the Capelo Peninsula.<\/p>\n
We proceeded to the area of the Capelinhos Volcano, where the landscape was completely changed and in which the houses and fields were covered by the volcanic ash of the 1957\/ 58 eruption. Passage through the Forest Park of the Capelo, School of Crafts of Capelo and return to the city of Horta and visit to Monte da Guia (only for groups up to 8 people).
